Ear surgery (otoplasty)
OThe surgery corrects the problem of prominent ears and brings the ears back closer to the head. at the same time it can restore the missing folds in the ear. The surgery is done any time after teh age of 5, where the ears are almost fully grown.

| The incisions are made behind the ears. Skin and extra cartilage are removed. The ear folds are reconstructed and the ear is secured back in a more normal position, closer to the scalp. |
