Neck
Common reasons for increased neck fullness with time can be an abnormal accumulation of fat in the area or laxity/separation of the underlying muscle. If too much skin excess is present, a lower facelift might be necessary

| During a neck lift the fat is removed using liposuction or through direct excision. The loose or separated underlying platysma muscle is brought together and tightened. This results in a better better neck contour. Sometimes a small incision is necessary just under the chin. |
